Hello Everyone, Once again Marlain and myself are running our AFL Footy Tipping competition, last year we had a great contest with the winner being Roger Size. This year we are hoping to make it even bigger, Once again the competition is free to enter, and there will be a great prize for the winner, plus there will be some extra competitions through the season.

Also this year we have changed the rules to allow you to submit your tips up to five minutes before the start of each match.

The Competition is very easy to join and simple to play, your tips can be submitted via the website, or via SMS.

Join our AFL 2011 Tipping Competition now:

1.      Go to http://www.oztips.com/

2.      Click the 'REGISTER' button on the homepage and set-up a Login (if you played with us last year you already have a username & password).

3.      Once you have successfully registered a Username and Password, click the 'JOIN A COMP' button.

4.      You will be asked to enter an OzTips Comp Number and Password.

The Comp you've been asked to join is:

5.      That's it!

The Basics

Tipping Format: This is straight pick the winner tipping.

Tip Cut-off Time: Tip cut-off time for your Comp is 5-minutes before EACH match. This option enables Tipsters to make selections right up until the start of each match.

Scoring

Correct Tip - 1

Incorrect Tip - 0

Tip a Draw - 3

Match Drawn (but not Tipped) - 0

RULES

1.      Non-Submission: Calculation of Points for Tipsters who fail to submit their Tips by the 5-min Tip cut-off times. Tipsters will receive any points awarded for correct Away Team Tips if no Tips have been saved.

2.      Late Start: Allocation of Points for Tipsters who start later than Week 1. Tipsters will receive any points awarded for a correct Away Team Tip in each missed match.

3.      Prize Information: This is a winner takes all competition. Judges decision is final
