I'm Kevin Perry — Senior News Editor and co-owner of TV Blackbox, Australia's TV-industry trade publication. Kevin Perry Creative is where I build the apps I always wished existed.

Two decades of editing taught me one thing that carries straight into software: respect people's time. Cut the fluff. Get to the point. I build apps the same way I edit — focused, opinionated, and doing one thing exceptionally well instead of everything badly.

I'm not a traditionally-trained developer. I'm a self-taught maker who, working alongside AI, can finally ship the apps I've spent years wishing someone else would build. That's the real story here: AI didn't replace the craft — it unlocked it.

I build for serious, everyday users — because I am one. No ads. No in-app tracking. No subscriptions for the sake of it. Just native iOS apps that work flawlessly, day after day. The clean design is in service of that, never the point of it.
